My name is Tao Tao. I’m the founder of AppVC, an early-stage fintech investor based in London. We invest in early-stage fintechs, payment infrastructure, and AI within those verticals.

Perfect, perfect. Well, we appreciate you joining us here today. What do you think of the event so far?
Tao Tao:
That’s fantastic. I think it’s a really good opportunity for us to learn others’ opinions and get a good understanding of the possible future.
Korath Wright:
Perfect, perfect. And what type of people would you be most interested in meeting here?
Tao Tao:
Other investors — to understand the momentum and what might be the next big thing in infrastructure within the crypto space. Also, what we can do for RWA. And, you know, stablecoins are a very hot topic, so we want to understand the dynamics and how we can contribute to achieve the best outcome.
Korath Wright:
OK, and speaking of the next big thing, where do you see that going? What do you think it is?
Tao Tao:
I’m a payments guy — 10 years in payments, in the fiat world, wallets, e-wallets, fiat wallets. I see the possible future as uniting fiat and crypto, but under the right regulation and the right level of security.
Korath Wright:
OK, and you think we’re heading in that direction?
Tao Tao:
Absolutely.
